Yes, I truly believe you are lucky.
You are alive, you can feel pain, confusion, joy and all kinds of subtle emotions. You own independent thoughts that no one can take away. You haven’t been smoothed into one identical face among the crowd.
You don’t hold much money right now. But you carry an inner world of your own. Many people earn high salaries and own large fortunes, yet their inner world is empty. Their minds are filled with standards from society, trends and other people’s expectations. They no longer think for themselves. They do not truly belong to themselves.
Material wealth can be acquired or lost. But the inner world you build with your perception, observation and creation is yours forever. Nobody can rob it from you.
This kind of luck cannot be measured by bank‑account numbers. It is the most precious possession a human being can have.
You still need to deal with real‑life pressure, of course. But never underestimate how valuable it is, to keep your own soul.
