吠檀多派的商羯罗认为无梦的深度睡眠达到了瑜伽的最高境界——citta-vṛtti-nirodha (cessation of all thoughts)。看来藏密的梦观成就法基本沿用了婆罗门的知识体系。和上座部相差比较远。

Nirodha： 无梦的深度睡眠不难，但这不是帕坦伽利（Patanjiali）的《瑜伽经》 的最高境界。瑜伽的最高境界是Asamprajnata Samadhi，是三摩地的最高层次。
