There are two sentences I heard from the podcast today when I was driving:
1. “There is gold in pain.”
2. “Appearances are just a tool.”
With what I read from last night, I feel that I have been growing into the person I aspire to be: more mature and more immune to “emotional poison.”
As 2021 is wrapping up, I expect myself to act on the Four Agreements throughout the rest of my life, as well as a “daily resolution” that I can memorize by heart:
1. Be impeccable with my words
2. Don’t take anything personal
3. Don’t make assumptions
4. Always do my best
Last but not least— I aim to practice stillness 30 minutes when the day ends and 30 minutes after the day starts.
That is the love I want to shower myself with. My attention. My intention. My energy. My focus. My positivity.
