Love is Verb.. Feelings and attraction can absolutely be enough to start love. You don’t logically calculate attraction. You feel drawn to someone, you feel warmth, desire, safety, excitement, tenderness, curiosity. Those things are deeply human. But unconditional love doesn’t necessarily mean unconditional access to a relationship. Someone can say: “I feel strongly attracted to you. I care about you. I want you.” And still use their logical mind to ask: “Can I build a sustainable life with this person? Can I meet their needs? Are our values compatible? Am I ready for what this relationship requires?” That isn’t necessarily a lack of love. Sometimes it’s responsibility.
