To the next person that I'll fall in love with...
If you fall in love with me, don't give me your heart. I want you to keep it.
Instead, put me in it. Alongside all the other things that you love.
I don't want you to make me your world. I want you to have your own and just make me a part of it.
I want you to be happy with a variety of reasons and not just me alone.
If you give me your heart, you're giving me control over it. But I don't want to control you. I want you to be happy. If I accept your heart, I'll be it's cage. Love is supposed to be free; therefore, I refuse to accept your heart. Keep it and love me the way you want to love me.
And if our love is right, things will just slowly fall into place and everything will work out just fine.
