I mean.....I feel like sometimes all I'm doing is literally like, eating, sleeping, working, in that order and repeat, then eventually die, and ever since having a best friend pass away a month ago, I am now more than ever convinced there is more to life than getting an uni degree, then getting a stable 9-to-5 job, settling down, having a family, mortgage for the house etcetra etcetra is going to guarantee hapiness, success and security, because it doesn't, contrary to what society values and thinks. I mean, if we're not already happy with what we have currently, who's to say, we'll be happy with more??
I feel like I'm slowly been swayed to follow blindly into this normal, run--out-of-the-mill life but who's to say you honestly won't die tomorrow?? I never imagined having to say goodbye to that friend so soon and when she was so young too....and I hope, I will be able to live a life true to myself and live without regrets when I'm lying on my deathbed too....
Pardon me and excuse this angsty rant, just all those quarter-life existential crisis feelings coming up....😑
